Curriculum content was taught through the framework of research with culminating projects published in this District Web Magazine. Technology was integrated throughout each step of the research as a tool to facilitate the process. Students, much like real-world authors, brainstormed, set goals, researched, organized, evaluated and created projects for this online magazine publication. Students used the Independent Investigation Method (IIM) of research, effective critical thinking skills and project based learning. In addition to all the resources that the teachers had, they maintained PortaPortal list of websites. We are committed to exposing our students to many experiences so they may discover areas in which they can excel. We will provide a supportive environment that encourages lifelong learning. We set high expectations and explore new technologies and strategies to meet individual needs of our students.   Staff-Development JDL Technologies provided the staff development for the EETT Project in Madison County. Their experienced staff developers brought their expertise into the schools and worked directly with students and teachers!
